Retreat basics

• What exactly is the Desert & Yoga Experience?

A small, heart-led journey into the Sahara—daily yoga/meditation, mindful trekking, local nomad culture, and time to reset in silence and nature.


• Who is it for?

For open-minded people ready to slow down, ground, and reconnect. Beginners in yoga/meditation are welcome.


• How big are the groups?

Small and personal. I keep it intimate so everyone feels seen and supported.


• What’s included?

Accommodation during the retreat, desert transport during the program, guided treks, daily yoga/meditation, most meals, tea/water, and our hosting. (Exact inclusions can vary—check each retreat page.)


• What’s not included?

Flights, travel insurance, personal snacks, tips, and optional Marrakech activities or museum/monument tickets.

Booking & payments

• How do I book?

Go to the Contact & Book Now page. From there, you can open an email to me and write your name, the retreat you’d like to join, and any questions you have. I’ll reply personally with all the details and the next steps.



• Is there a deposit?

Yes—secure your spot with a deposit. The remaining balance is due before the retreat (details are in each retreat info pack).


• What payment methods do you take?

Bank transfer/Revolut are the most common. If you need another method, just ask.


• What’s your cancellation policy?

Spots are limited. Deposits are generally non-refundable. If you need to cancel, message me and we’ll see options depending on timing and our costs.

Travel & logistics

• Where do we start?

Most retreats begin/meet in Marrakech and travel  toward the desert. Exact meeting point/time are in your info pack.


• Do I need a visa?

Many nationalities can enter Morocco visa-free for short stays. Please check your own country’s rules and passport validity before booking.


• How do I get to Marrakech?

Fly into Marrakech (RAK). I’ll share recommended arrival/departure windows once you book.


• Will there be phone signal/Wi-Fi?

Expect limited signal in the dunes. Take it as a gift to unplug. You’ll have better signal in towns/riads.

Preparation & packing

• What should I pack?

Layers (days warm, nights cooler), comfy walking shoes, hat/scarf, sunscreen, a warm layer for evenings, reusable water bottle, small backpack, personal meds, and your journal.


• Is it physically demanding?

We walk mindfully on sand and uneven terrain. A basic level of fitness helps. If you have concerns, message me and I’ll guide you.


• Can you cater to my diet?

Usually yes—vegetarian are very common. Tell me your needs in advance.


• Is it safe for solo travelers?

Yes. Many come solo and leave with new friends. I hold the container and we travel with trusted local guides.

On the experience

• What style of yoga is it?

Gentle, grounding practices (Hatha/Yin/slow flow), breathwork, and meditation—accessible for all levels.


• Will there be camels/4x4 trekking?

Some editions include camel rides or 4x4 support; others are more trekking-focused. Check the info for your specific dates.


• What if I don’t want to join every activity?

Your body, your pace. I encourage presence, not pressure. Rest if you need.

After you book

• How do I get all details?

You’ll be added to a small temporary group for your dates. I’ll share the prep list, packing, and Zoom call info there.


• Can I extend my stay in Morocco?

Absolutely. I can suggest riads/areas I love. Just ask. Or we can organise that for you at additional costs.
